I could not do nearly the amount of work I do if I did not have a weekly paper organization and planning system.
The Sunday Basket has increased my productivity, reduced our late fees and generally created sanity in our home. If this is the first time you’ve hear of the term “Sunday Basket,” well, that’s because I made it up! You can read all about how the Sunday Basket came to be here.
Read my first post here about what my Sunday routine looks like.
Ah, the dilemma of what to do with your kids’ school papers. If you don’t have a system – pile them all in the Sunday Basket and deal with them once a week.
I use a system similar to the Sunday Basket for my kids’ school papers. I have 2 colored plastic boxes in our kitchen cabinet. I toss all the papers in there all year long and go through it in the summer.
Then, in the summer I go through the boxes. Whatever we decide to keep, I add to their School paper binders.
Here is a post I wrote about what school papers I keep for clients.
And an older post about display solutions for kid’s artwork.
Organizing and storing memorabilia and photos is a huge job and requires systems and maintenance to keep it all organized. I have more memorabilia organization ideas in my eBook, 10 Steps to Organized Photos and Memorabilia.
So, what about you? Do you have a plan for storing your kids’ school papers?
